Yes! Early Christianity had no sense of guilt around this season. It was a time to refocus attention on unity and oneness and the divinity that is in all. Much of that was lost as sin and penance became the emphasis of the church. Check out Alexander’s podcast episode this week, I linked it in the post - super good!
