Friends.
I pulled 2 tarot cards this morning. I usually pull 1 every day or every other day, but today I decided to pull 2: the first being the MAIN card with the MAIN message and the second being a CLARIFICATION card, to take the message of the main card a little deeper.
And before I did? I asked my dad to speak to me. I believe he’s here, just on the other side of a very thin veil. I believe he hears my conversations, is aware of my thoughts and fears and worries. And I believe he’s always making himself known, even when I’m not aware.
And so I asked him, “dad - what do I need to know right now? Show me some perspective from your point of view.”
Sometimes I’ll direct that question to God.
Other times to Jesus.
Other times to the Universe.
But today as Christmas gets nearer and nearer, I found myself longing to hear from my dad.
These were my cards: (1) The Queen of Swords and (2) The Empress.
The Queen of Swords carries a very specific kind of energy. This Queen is full of confidence and she’s doesn’t let people or circumstances dictate who she is. The card encourages us to hold our swords with confidence, to remain true to ourselves amidst the flurry of opinions coming our way regarding who we should be, what we should do, etc.
In short - “don’t shrink yourself or change yourself to fit in. Be you.”, that’s the message.
And then The Empress - this is a mother-like figure who invites her children to lay their head upon her breast and rest as she whispers in their ear that everything is going to be OK.
Yes, that’s her message - regardless of what is going on in your life right now, “everything is going to be OK.”
Does that encourage you? It’s the message I needed to hear, that’s for sure.
And so today: may we use our voices, may we trust our intuition, may we refuse to shrink ourselves down to fit into circumstances and places where we don’t feel we fit … and may we know deep down in our bones that regardless of what hurtles or problems are staring us down, regardless of where “using our voice” leads us - everything is going to be OK.
Much love,

Thanks Glenn for your words and thoughts, these cards are beautiful and soothing.
Thanks Glenn! Love the idea that you can talk to whoever you want! And that everything will be ok. The old evangelical messaging is still there but its not as loud as it used to be❤️
