Friday Offerings
a new thing

Friends.
I read A LOT. Y’all should see my office space - books EVERYWHERE. I have so many books with so many highlights with SO MANY DIFFERENT COLORS AND SITCKY NOTES AND … let’s just say that my brain is overflowing with thoughts and ideas.
That said.
I’ve been thinking about doing a short post once a week with a quote from something I’m reading. I’m calling it “Friday Offerings” - a short quote from a book I’m reading with zero commentary for me.
I will …
“Offer you” the quote.
Encourage you to ponder it over the weekend.
AND.
Double dare the Spirit or God or the Universe or your own Amazing Intution to use it to stir up something radical inside of you.
Fun?
I think so.
Here’s this week’s Friday Offering:
“Could our hearts and our minds be big enough to hang out in that space where we’re not entirely certain about who’s right and who’s wrong? Could we have no agenda when we walk into a room with another person, not know what to say, not make or assume that person is wrong or right? It’s far more daring and real not to shut anyone out of our hearts and not to make the other into an enemy. The reality is that trying to find absolute rights and wrongs is a trick we play on ourselves to feel more secure and comfortable.”
- Pema Chödrön, When Things Fall Apart
Much love, my friend. May the Spirit or God or the Universe or your own Amazing Intution use these words to stir up something radical inside of you.
