It’s Friday and that means it’s time for my “Friday Offering” where I give you a quote from a book that I’m reading with no commentary from me.

We all carry emotional imprints from childhood. And unless we learn how to work with them, we’ll keep reacting to the present through the lens of the past, mistaking old pain for current danger. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. Once we see that our present-day struggles are rooted in painful early experiences, we can start to respond differently.
