I Was Recently on a Podcast

w/ my friends, the Deconstrucing Mamas

Friends.

A few weeks ago I was a guest on the “Deconstructing Mamas” podcast, hosted by my friends Lizz Petters and Esther Joy Goetz. And if you know me, you know I don’t go on many podcasts. I get asked all the time, but my answer is usually “no” or “not now” or “I’m not sure if it’s the best fit”. No specific reason, really; I just don’t like being interviewed and don’t really enjoy “on the spot” questions, and so I choose to invest my energies in the things that really bring me life and joy.

BUT.

Lizz and Esther are good friends and they’re super easy to talk to and so I joined them for my second visit to their show.

What did we talk about?

Well.

Here’s the title that they chose: “Love as Resistance”.

We talked about how complicated it is to love in these divisive days and the despratation we feel inside to find another way to be as we live in and make our way through a world that demands you choose sides, take a stand, “other” those who disagree, cancel, etc.
