Hey. Hmm. I think much of the understanding of hell as a place of fire and torture is due to taking pieces of the Scriptures literally when they maybe aren’t meant to be read that way. That would be my quick 2 cents :)
If we're talking within the Christian tradition of the "good news," or gospel, being Jesus, we'd need to clarify in what sense Jesus is being said to be corrupted. If we're talking about the accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, we'd also need to clarify in what sense they are purportedly corrupted. What does that mean? The question itself seems to imply either Islamic or evangelical assumptions about Scripture that imo, are't very helpful, necessary, or even very consistent with the tradition of the prophets and Jesus.
