Hi Glenn, Thanks for sharing this story. I believe! I wrote a comment on your post when you talked about the book, Signs, because I had just finished reading the book as well. You mentioned that you were going to read Jackson's two other books. Just this morning, I started her book, Guided. The first chapter is on the ripple effect and how we are all connected. When I was finished, I looked out of my living room window. I live right on the Pacific Ocean and I'm used to the view. Often, it will be perfectly calm like glass; other times the waves are rolling in. But this morning--something I hadn't seen before. Ripples for miles. The ocean was quiet. No boats or wind that I could observe. But for miles, the water came in to shore in gentle large ripples. It took my breath away because I was so impacted by Jackson's chapter on the ripple effect. It lasted for 10 minutes and has not reappeared since.
There's so much to learn about the mystery of God and this universe, isn't there? I still have goosebumps.
I loved this story Glenn. I am right there with you and the thin veil. And love how you are talking to your dad. You know I think of when we have a cloudy day, and we can't see the sun, we know it is there, and it makes it's presence known in different ways.
