Hello friends.
After being sick ALL of last week I’m finally feeling a bit more like myself and so I sat down to do some painting.
When do I paint? Someone asked me that the other day. “With all you do, how do you have time?!” I find that I’ve gotta be intentional with it. I mentioned previously that this year I’m working to get to know my inner child more, to become reacquainted with my younger self and so I’ve been trying to engage in some activities I used to enjoy when I was younger …
Painting.
Drawing.
Video games.
Lego.
Baseball.
… and in order to do that I need to make time; and so since I work from home I’ll usually work for an hour or 2 and then take a break to draw/paint/etc. - this allows me to get my work done AND get some time to do a few things that bring me joy.
