Friends.
So I’m doing these videos over on Patreon called “Books I’m Reading” and I don’t know if I’ll do more of them or not - it’s an experiment of sorts.
The idea is this.
I have all these books on my desk written by really cool people who are kind enough to sit down and answer my questions on the podcast. Some books are written by people who have already been on the show, some are written by people who will be coming on the show in the upcoming weeks/months.
Anyways.
So I have all of these books and I thought it would be cool if every once in a while I flip on my camera, tell you about the book, read a paragraph, share my thoughts about the paragraph and then you can hop in the comments and tell me your thoughts on what I read.
Is this a good idea?
A good use of the “video” tab on Patreon?
I don’t know, but it sounds like it might be fun so let’s give it a go. I might also do a series of videos called “Paintings I Painted” or something where I show you my latest painting and tell you about it (most of them have a story behind them).
Oh.
And no schedule of releases. Other than the podcast, I try not to “lock myself in” to release dates. I’ll make the videos when I have something of interest to share and have the itch to share it. Weekly? Bi-weekly? Monthly? Who knows - like the rapture, the videos will drop on you like a thief in the night.

The first “book video” will drop tomorrow, the one linked HERE is just the “intro” of the idea and me telling you a little bit about the idea (which was a spur of the moment idea, by the way, while I was making the video - HA!). If you want to check them out, be sure to SUBSCRIBE ON PATREON. There are NO PAYWALLS (as is true here, on Substack) - you can give what you want to or can, but everyone gets access to everything regardless of whether or not they give money. The vidoes MAY eventually make their way here, to Substack, but for now - they will ONLY be on Patreon.
