This one is 2 separate canvases that (together!) make up 1 story - Jerry’s relentless teasing of Tom and Tom’s refusal to ever throw in the towel on catching Jerry.
Hm.
Some of us could use a little Tom in our days, right? We could use a little fire in our belly to keep going, keep pressing in, not giving up.
And others of us?
Others of us could use a little Jerry in our days - a playful attitude that almost taunts the big, scary things in our lives … daring them to come and get us, trusting that our intuition will guide us to safety and help us overcome.

When I was a kid, my neighbor, Ray Treviño, told me he liked the episodes in which Tom & Jerry were friends. "Yeah," I said reflectively, feeling guilty inside, questioning my character, because I was actually more entertained by the episodes in which they were trying to smash each other, especially if Jerry got the better of Tom. 😆
