Friends.
I am having so much fun. When I was a kid I went to a conservative-Evangelical-Private-Christian-School (it was even more horrible than it sounds) where I was taught about hell and the rapture and that humans once roamed the earth with dinosaurs some 6,000 years ago.
Wild, wild stuff.
And one thing they hated? One thing this school absolutely could not stand? 2 things, actually:
(1) Green Day
AND.
(2) The Simpsons.
Green Dayās music and Bart Simpsonās antics were frowned upon in those holier-than-thou hallways where the principal would walk around armed with a ruler measuring the skirt length of the girls while telling us boys to tuck in our shirts.
Anyways.
These days I listen to Green Day ALL.DAY.LONG. (seriously - last year Apple Music told me I was one of Green Dayās top 100 listeners in the world - HA!) and Iām 4 seasons into the Simpsonās (with many more to go, I know). And my favorite Simpson? Bart is obviously fantastic, but Lisa has really grown on me. Sheās clearly the most intuitive of everyone in the Simpson family, carries the most wisdom, and is into Buddhism, meditation, and other āZen-likeā things.
And so this latest piece of Art is Lisa āawakeningā to her intution.
And.
You know?
I feel this so much ⦠with her one eye peeped open, looking around, as the āThird Eyeā of her āintuitionā begins to open wide on her forehead. And I feel this because so often in my own journey I feel like I'm making my way through with one eye open - wondering if Iām going in the right direction, if Iām absolutely insane, if Iām doing this āhealing thingā right.
BUT.
With every step I take?
With every bit of progress I make?
My intution awakens a little bit more as the still, quite voice inside grows louder and clearer as I listen to it more and more each day.
Do you like this one? Suggested price is $250 (based upon canvas size, time, supplies, etc.) BUT as I always say - if you like it and thatās not in your ballpark, just make me an offer and itās yours. Even if the offer is $0, Iāll put it in the mail - no questions asked.
Oh.
And how about this design on a T-Shirt? Yes, a T-Shirt. Why? Because ⦠why not? One time my mom said to me, āyour art would make cool shirts. Have you ever thought of putting them on t-shirts?ā
Nope, I havenāt. But Iād wear this - in fact, I just odered one, HA! Thanks for the idea, mom :).
Click HERE if you want to check it out. It's priced as low as I can go (I will only make $1.44/shirt - this is a test, we'll see how it prints and maybe do some more!)
Much love, friends.
