I’ve always loved to write. Even when I was in seminary, I can remember being given the option at the end our “Theology of Missions” class to either (1) take a multiple question final exam or (2) write a 25 page paper on what I learned that semester - I chose the paper.
Always!
… and (if I remember correctly) I wrote about 35 pages - HA!
I love playing with words and sentences, trying to express myself on a blank page. And so over the last bunch of years I’ve self-published 3 books. I looked at traditional publishers, but … eh. There is so much marketing involved, so much focus on numbers and sales and building email lists and social media followings.
I just wanna share some ideas and let the numbers sort themselves out.
Self-publishing doesn’t make much money or put my name/work out there very much, but it gives me a creative outlet to put words together, organize them on a page, play with a cover, and send it out into the world.
Here are my first 3, the 4th is brewing.
